Abstract :
A robust H filter design problem for a class of uncertain discrete-time systems with possible missing measurements due to unreliable networked transmission channels is investigated. The stochastic variable, satisfying Bernoulli random binary distribution, is introduced in this work to model the missing phenomena and the corresponding filtering error dynamics with delay is subsequently induced. A set of sufficient conditions is provided for the existence of the desired filter and a robust filter design method is developed within the linear matrix inequality (LMI) framework. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed design method.
