Abstract :
Information maximal and performance optimal linear MIMO modulations are constructed. A recursive closed form expression of mutual information is used to find optimal bases for linear MIMO-modulations. The symmetry group of mutual information is decomposed. Performance is optimized by (possibly matrix valued) constellation rotations in orthogonally encoded directions.
