Abstract :
This paper focuses on how to determine an accurate aerosol model for atmospheric correction of the space-borne data. The authors´ algorithm is based on the idea that aerosol characteristics can be estimated in terms of the scattering behavior. It is shown that aerosol models are precisely determined by combining usage of the polarization measurements and the radiance data
