Abstract
This paper describes the parasitic capacitive currents of a power converter, which are generated by the fast switching IGBTs of the inverter bridge, and their influence on the conducted electromagnetic interferences. Furthermore, the capacitive coupling between the rectifier module, the inverter module and the heat sink is varied and therefore the propagation paths of the interferences are altered. The impacts on the conducted emissions are examined as well.
