Abstract :
In this paper we focus on the use of FePt as a ferromagnetic biasing buffer layer to GMR sensors in the form of Co/Cu/Co trilayers prepared with Cu spacer layer thickness corresponding to the second antiferromagnetic coupling maximum as to bias magnetic properties of thin FePt films.
