Abstract :
This paper has analyzed the vehicle routing problem with time windows and proposed its mathematical model, then provided an improved chaos ant colony algorithm by introducing chaos perturbation and penalty function into basic ant colony algorithm. The results of simulation experiment show that the improved algorithm proposed in this paper is effective and has much higher capacity of global optimization than genetic algorithm and basic ant colony algorithm.
