Abstract
This paper addresses power-scaling issues of the PC-MOPA system when using a tandem bounce amplifier. The master laser used was a continuous-wave mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser with a pulse width of 7.3 ps, and a pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of 100 MHz; its output was injected into a transversely diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 slab bounce amplifier (lat% Nd doping, dimensions of 20 mm χ 5 mm x 2 mm).
