Abstract
In this paper, we propose an adaptive array to suppress interference signals for uplink OFDMA in mobile WiMAX. Uplink user data is distributed over the bandwidth and the channel state changes instantly so it is difficult to apply a conventional algorithm. To solve this problem, adaptive weight is calculated on a "tile-by-tile" basis in the proposed method. In our simulation and experiments, compared to conventional Zero- Forcing (ZF) algorithm, the proposed algorithm can realize better reception quality.
