Abstract :
Based on a compact dual-polarization dual-frequency distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) fiber laser and polarization sensitive optical phase modulator, simple and stable photonic RF signal source and phase shifter can be realized simultaneously. The phase shift can be tuned continuously and linearly over 360° for the generated RF signals over 31-GHz with electrical voltage control.
