Abstract :
This paper investigates the potential of single crystal fibers (SCF) as amplifier for different short pulses seed sources.The experimental setup consisted a simple or double pass amplifier using a Nd:YAG SCF (provided by Fibercryst SAS) pumped by a high power fiber coupled laser diode (60 W at 808 nm, core diameter, 100 μm).
