Abstract :
UDP based Data Transfer (UDT) protocol has emerged as one of the next-generation high-speed network protocol for transferring bulk data in distributed environment. With the rapid increase and emergence of new distributed applications for bulk data transfer using UDT framework, security has become a major concern which is driving researchers to explore for providing required security to UDT. It is important to provide security for UDT protocol security to ensure authentication, confidentiality and integrity. To provide the above security services, Transport Layer Security Solutions (TLS) are explored. Through this paper, we presented our efforts in integrating TLS with UDT along with the experimental results.
