Abstract :
The report was about the microdomain-oriented Nd:FAP anisotropic ceramic laser. A maximum quasi-continuous wave (QCW) peak power of 255 mW with wavelength of 1063 nm was obtained by using an uncoated 2 at.% micro domain-oriented Nd:FAP ceramic. The development of anisotropic laser ceramics with controlled micro structures and grain boundaries is expected to contribute significantly to the field of laser science and technology.
