Abstract
In this work, we report a CW crystalline Raman laser which generates cascaded first and second-Stokes emission wavelengths (1173 nm and 1308 nm respectively) from an Nd:GdVO4 self-Raman laser, and we apply intracavity second harmonic generation/sum frequency generation (SHG/SFG) using LBO to obtain wavelength-selectable output at 532 nm, 559 nm, 586.5 nm and 620 nm. We will discuss how the various output powers are presently limited by the competition between stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) and SHG/SFG processes within the resonator.
