Abstract :
Eu3+:KGd(WO4)2 laser crystal and its stimulated emission at 703 nm along with 5D07F4 transition is reported. The room temperature lasing at about 703 nm was obtained under pulse optical pumping at 533.6 nm. The 25% Eu:KGW was excited by second harmonic Nd:KGW laser pulses with 10 ns in duration and up to 16 mJ in energy.
