Abstract :
We report on an all-solid-state, single frequency, pulsed coherent sodium D2 (589.1583 nm) resonance light source based on sum-frequency generation (SFG) using two Nd:YAG lasers, one near 1064 and the other near 1319 nm, pumped with pulsed laser diodes (LDs) in a compact end-pumped system.
