Abstract :
After a high dose electron beam was irradiated to polyetheretherketone (PEEK) in helium (He) gas, the temperature dependence of the relative permittivity and the relative dielectric loss factor were measured. Glass transition temperature (Tg) values were calculated from graphs depicting the relationship between logarithmic values of τ(Tm) data and Tm values through use of the WLF equation. These results were compared with those of specimens irradiated in the air and the relationship between the atmosphere of the irradiation and electrical properties was investigated
