Abstract :
Illumination makes an important role in realistic graphics rendering, especially in the mixed-scene rendering based on the geometric models and images. Adjusting illumination effect is a key step to achieve realistic scene when the images are inconsistent with the virtual environment. Therefore, complicated processing is required to generate the image with desired illumination condition. Using the technology of model rendering pipeline based on GPU, this paper presents a hue method to generate consistent ambient illumination between image and geometric models in a mixed-scene without specular and shadow. With this method, we can render the novel image under different ambient lights, and need not a lot of image data.
