Abstract :
In this paper, the head-disk spacing loss induced by the disk flutter and clamping distortion was investigated by experimental approach. Different disk clamping distortion and two types of sliders with different ABS designs were used in the investigation. The effect of the suspension loading force on the induced spacing loss was also studied.
