Abstract
In this paper, a new multiple access scheme called frequency interleaved code division multiple access (FI- CDMA) is proposed. The major novelty of this scheme is that it is able to benefit from the advantages of the well known multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) and to solve one of the major drawback encountered by OFDM-based techniques, the fluctuations of the transmitted signal, represented by the peak-to- average power ratio (PAPR).
