Abstract :
Numerical algorithms for calculations of electromagnetic fields near thin perfectly conducting screens of arbitrary cross-sections and near thin spherical reflectors have been proposed. The algorithms have been constructed on the basis of the rigorous solution of corresponding boundary value problems. The recently developed rigorous methods of the Riemann-Hilbert problem has been applied to the problem of electromagnetic field scattering from two-dimensional thin screens with arbitrary cross-sections. Particular attention has been paid to the cases of a cylindrical reflector antenna excited by a line current source and of structures formed by a finite number of scatterers with interior cavities coupled through free space by slots (cavity backed apertures-CBA). The problem of scattering from thin spherical reflector has been solved by the method of regularization based on the dual series equation and integral transformation techniques
