Abstract
In this paper, the degradation characteristic of low-voltage apparatus is analyzed. On the basis of maintenance cost analysis, the age reduction factor is introduced, and then an optimal mathematic model is established by minimizing the maintenance cost rate in the whole life cycle. In addition, taking the threshold of failure rate based on availability necessary in operation into account, the optimizing strategy can be achieved to balance economic costs and reliability relations. Finally, an example for SACE E2 is simulated, and calculating results reveal the proposed strategy´s superiority that can provide scientific decision support to the planned-maintenance of electrical equipment.
