Abstract :
One of the main purposes of look-ahead scheduling is for grid and market operators to manage the operational uncertainties in the next several hours. This paper proposes a robust look-ahead unit commitment algorithm using the Linear Decision Rules (LDR) which was originally proposed by Ben-Tal etc. in 2004.
