Abstract :
In this report, the EdF´s test for the high temperature vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubber insulator was performed up to 2000 hours. Evaluation of the aging sample was performed from measured results such as chemical analysis, hardness and surface roughness during the test. The acceleration factor of a salt-fog test was estimated from alumina trihydrate (ATH) reduction rate on the chemical analysis by comparing with EdF´s test results. It was found that the acceleration factor of the salt-fog test under a certain conditions was about 90, which was 6 times higher than that of EdF´s test
