Abstract :
In order to gain the qualified life of cast-resin dry-type transformer and calculate the life lost, it needs to test and evaluate the thermal endurance of insulation structure. The insulation system model is made referring to real transformer and includes all basic parts; it can also represent the electric properties and mechanical features of the whole insulation system and reflect main failure modes of real transformer.
