Abstract :
The systolic bidirectional algorithm (SBA) is a new parallel procedure for decoding trellis codes. Simulation results show a substantial reduction of decoding complexity when this algorithm is compared to stack algorithm (SA) and bidirectional stack algorithm (BSA).
