Abstract :
IEC61970 CIM standard is normally supported by models exchanged among different application systems of electric power enterprises in the process of DAS (Distribution Automation System) set-up. The models of different application systems may use different versions of CIM as they are built up in different periods of time. A mechanism is urgently required to solve the problem caused by different versions of models in different systems. A mechanism of self-adaptation to different versions of models is given in this paper. If new model versions are added to the electric power Enterprise Service Bus(ESB), corresponding principles will be the only thing needs to be added to the Modal service. No modification to the systems where the models are exported or imported is needed. It has been proved by actual applications that the mechanism can meet the requirements of transformation of different model versions.
