Abstract :
Emission light was observed for merocyanine (MC) LB films and hetero films of MC and crystal violet (CV) LB films on silver (Ag) films using the reverse irradiation in the Kretschmann configuration. Emission properties and changes in the spectra due to energy interaction of MC and CV molecules have been investigated using the Ag thin film conventional ATR method and the reverse irradiation. The phenomenon is useful for application to a new luminescent devices and sensors
