Abstract :
Reflection of normally incident polarized light by a strained layered structure “dielectric-metal”, transmission of the light wave through the structure and changing its polarization state are considered in the paper. Possibilities of application of the obtained results for the non-destructive determination of strain-stressed state for dielectric solids are discussed.
