Abstract :
Smart antennas are the key technology to suppress interferences and enhance the desired signal in strong interfering environment for satellites and GPS Signals. Smart/Adaptive arrays uses certain algorithms to process the incoming signal. A systematic comparison of the performance of different Adaptive Algorithms for beamforming for Smart Antenna System has been extensively studied in this research work including Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm, Optimized-LMS algorithm and Recursive Least Squares (RLS).
