Abstract :
With the promotion of unattended substations,the industry pay more attention to the operation of the remote channel. It takes extra manpower and time to repair the remote communication interruption when the place of fault can not be located. And dispatchers can not get the information initiatively and in time. A new spare and monitoring device of the remote channel in substation is proposed in this paper. This device can recognize the fault type and transmit the remote signal by monitoring the channels, such as the warning of substation general fault signal change. And it can be a spare channel as well.
