Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristic of thermal deterioration of insulating paper used in transformers to construct a prediction method. The authors have clarified the deterioration characteristic of insulating papers, and have constructed a facile prediction method of thermal deterioration of insulating paper throughout this paper. Using this method one can predict the life of pole transformer with any overloaded condition or decide the limit of overload rate with any load pattern
