Abstract :
Performance optimization of electrically-injected nano-spin VCSEL is reported. Design strategy for the achievement of room-temperature operation of electrically-injected metal-clad nano-spin VCSEL is discussed. The impact of Purcell enhanced spontaneous emission on the modulation performance of nanoLEDS and nanolasers has been examined.
