Abstract :
Large-scale grid-connected photovoltaic generation (PV) plant is an important development direction of photovol-taic technology. The three-level inverter which is suitable for the environment of the high-voltage and high-power has been attracted more and more attention. This paper presents a simplified space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm which is used to large-capacity grid-connected photovoltaic generation system. This method uses a diamond which was determined by the vertex coordinate in the 60° coordinate system. Though this simple SVPWM algorithm, three nearest compound vectors can be selected easily for the reference voltage vector in each sector, and the action time of the three basic vectors can be calculated quickly. Simulation results verify the correctness and validity of the proposed algorithm.
