Abstract :
Polarimetric radars have good possibility to obtain more information than conventional single polarization measurements. If one could introduce the polarimetric radar measurements to a borehole radar system, one could get additional information on reflecting objects such as roughness of subsurface cracks. In the paper the authors show one example of copolarization and cross-polarization reflection measurements with a borehole radar in granite rock
