Abstract
In this paper the authors present a widely tunable NLM scheme that takes advantage of the unique properties of quasi-phase matched nonlinear crystals: a high nonlinearity (deff = 16 pm/V for a PPLN crystal) and a large spectral tunability (2.44-2.56 μm) provided by a fan-out grating. The phase shift between the two passes is provided by an AR coated wedged YAG plate. Hence, the NLM is tuned by translating components without cavity misalignment or losses variations.
