Abstract
Electrokinetic injection is one of the important sample manipulations steps, when capillary electrophoresis chip is used for chemical analysis. A mathematical model describing electric field and flow distribution in the ´+´ shape microchannel is presented in this paper. Computer simulation is accomplished by means of this model. Simulation revealed optimum electric potential at the time of injection and separation by the analysis of electric potential and flow distribution. The results of the computer simulation conform to the experiment.
