Abstract
This paper presents a new method for measuring the complexity of a software test. This provides a quantitative assessment of each test outcome. Testing effort may be focused on those functions that result in high fractional complexity. The complexity of a test provides a surrogate measure of software faults. The measurement technique is applied to an actual test of a software system
