Abstract
Feature analysis is used to explore and improve SAR imagery and it is therefore of great relevance. In this paper, the Fractal Brownian Model for SAR image edge detection and classification is considered. Such a scheme has been formerly employed in analogous but different research fields (e.g., medical images) providing quite interesting results. First experimental results on SAR imagery are presented and discussed showing analogies and differences with the latter
