Abstract :
In this paper, the authors demonstrated to our knowledge the first CEP stable source of intense ultrashort pulses above 3 μm wavelength. The combination of high intensity and high rep rate should open up a range of experiments that are intractable with current strong-field sources, while the mid-IR wavelengths allow investigation of a new regime of light-matter interaction.
