Abstract :
Opportunistic relaying has been shown to be an effective and practical method for implementing the cooperative diversity. However, most of previous works have focused on single cell environments and ignored the effects of interference from neighboring cells. In this paper, opportunistic relaying for cooperative diversity is investigated on multicell environments. We provide a closed form expression for its outage probability. Simulation results show the outage probability for various considerations on multicell environments.
