Abstract :
Three-wave stimulated Raman scattering in hydrogen-filled photonic crystal fiber is presented. The HC-PBG fiber (2 m long, 10 μm core diameter) was filled with hydrogen to a pressure of 1.1 bar and pumped with a laser emitting at 1064 nm, delivering 15 ns pulses of energy <; 100 μj. The pump was converted to first and second Stokes signals by means of stimulated Raman scattering. At the output of the fiber the transmitted light was analyzed as a function of coupled pump pulse energy.
