Abstract
Currently, communication conditions are not satisfactory in the distribution network of Peri-urban areas, due to that carrier communications are often subject to the impact of various factors. It´s still difficult to improve carrier communications fundamentally on the technical means. On the other hand, wireless communication technology is becoming more and more mature with a high success rate of communication. The field tests showed that it meets the distribution network communication needs on effectiveness, economy, feasibility to install wireless communication module on part of distribution stations which are unable to communicate, instead of carrier communication. For communications in those areas of broad terrain, more dispersed distribution, peri-buran areas in the rapid development, it has the advantages of low cost, small amount of engineering and environmental constraints to install wireless communication module to replace the carrier communication, which can improve the reliability rate of distribution station communication fundamentally at a stage that fiber can not be popularized in large areas.
