Abstract
The access of wind power will bring frequency fluctuation to power system, the performance of system´s primary frequency regulation (PFR) has an important effect on the stable operation of the grid. In this paper, the ability of system´s primary frequency regulation is studyed after wind farm connected to grid. First, the paper forecasts wind speed by time sequence method, and establishes ARMA model of wind speed, then gets the forecasted wind power. Second, the wind farm output in short time interval is analyzed by cubic spline interpolation method. Finally, the paper establishes PFR mathematical model, and discusses the dynamic and static responses of system frequency with the change of wind power in short time and long time. The results provide a reference on the system´s acceptance of wind power.
