  • Abstract
To improve the ability of 10kV distribution lines for lightning protection and management, it is necessary to remodify ways of lightning protection specifically for the issues of differences in the distribution lines. In this study an integrated solution for lightning protection was investigated, which is adopted the grid statistical method to statistics parameters of lightning and lines. Via calculating the lightning flashover rate with the lines parameters, the lightning protection performance and security level of each tower were evaluated. The reasons why some lines were easy to flashover were also obtained. A technical and economic assessment method was proposed to formulate the optimal lightning protection rebuilding measures in accordance with fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, and the feasibility of this method has been verified.
