Abstract :
We present some new results for analysis and design of parallel concatenated coding schemes working over high order PSK and QAM modulations with generic (even non-binary) generating groups. Owing to the bit geometrically uniform encoder properties, we are able to establish analytical results for the bit error probability and to show explicitly design rules for the constituent encoders.
