  • Abstract
    In this paper we present a matrix characterization of AMDS codes and NMDS codes over Zm and Abelian groups. A linear code with the ring of integers modulo is a subset closed under all linear combinations. An AMDS code is said to be near-MDS if its dual code is also AMDS.
