Abstract
In recent years, port and harbour security has risen up the agenda, as the prospect of attack from underwater intruders or explosives entering ports attached to vessels is considered a genuine threat to homeland security. Employing unique, cost effective, patented technology, Coda Echoscope has been proven in the North Sea oil and gas construction industry and is now in high demand for defence and security applications. Simultaneously producing over 16,000 sonar beams at up to 200 m range and at up to 20 times per second, Echoscope generates real-time 3D images of underwater scenarios that are easy to interpret.
