Abstract
This paper proposes a new design technique for 2-D recursive filters using computational D-modules. Given geometrical condition for the filter are formulated as finding a solution set of systems of partial differential equations (D-modules). A combined algorithm for restriction calculation of the D-modules and the optimization procedure is presented.
