  • Abstract
    In this paper, we propose a non-blind watermarking scheme for digital images based on singular value decomposition (SVD) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) in the DWT domain. Here, we are modifying the singular values of the host image with the principal components of the watermark in the DWT domain for providing copyright protection as well as reliability. We incorporate PSO in the scheme for finding the optimum scaling factors for efficient robustness and the fidelity of the scheme. Experimental results are provided to illustrate that the proposed scheme is able to withstand a variety of image processing attacks as well as providing copyright protection.
