The requirement needs and impact of business continuity plan on security strategies

Business Continuity Plan is a comprehensive plan that guaranties the continuity of providing services having information about the vulnerable information, points and situations. The goal of this research is to explain the process of BCP and then examine its influences on the case study of the Information Technology Company. The hypothesis of this research is that the implementation of the BCP or even an important part of it can increase the security and continuity of services. The technical performance of the company in two periods of three months long is evaluated and the results, which are in direction of fulfilling two important strategies of the company, are tested with the balanced score card and the QPR software. The results show improvement in the continuity of services and the security of the network.
